is it worth it?
No. We didn’t think it was worth our time or money to visit the Burj Khalifa. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing. We purchased a timed entry At The Top, Burj Khalifa ticket for about $49 USD/person to access the observation decks on floors 124-125. We arrived early, but the time on our ticket didn’t seem to matter. We waited in long lines, were pushed through each floor, and crammed into the elevators like sardines. When we were ready to leave, the uncomfortable and irritating process started over again. The windows were dirty both inside and outside making it hard to get a clear view or photo between fingerprints and grime.
For about $108 USD/person an At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY ticket accessed the observation decks on floors 124-125, and the SKY lounge on 148. The upgraded ticket was needed to access the SKY lounge. For the ultimate luxury experience of about $209/person a Lounge Pass accessed the observation decks on floors 124-125, the SKY Lounge on 148, and the world’s highest lounge on 152-153.
For the cost of the tickets and discovering a world where, luxury meets sky, and dreams take flight, we expected a world class experience. We preferred having a beer near Burj Park and admiring the tower from across Burj Khalifa Lake.
